The Associate Director - Value-based Specialty and Vendor Support role builds templates, standard documentation, policy and protocol, case studies, and disseminates best in class knowledge. The Associate Director requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s). This role supports successful Value-Based specialty and vendor relationships by partnering with markets and key stakeholders to align on consistencies and standardization to contract templates, language negotiations, processes, and resources.
The Associate Director for Value-Based Specialty and Vendor Support's decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex deal structure and operational problems within contracts, and leads multiple highly specialized professional associates.
They will be directly responsible for the strategic direction, ongoing operational oversight, contract template support, market and DRI education/training for all lines of business. Responsibilities include:
Manages a team of 4-8 Associates
Partners in the strategic development and implementation of operations, contract negotiations, approvals and processes, market and DRI education, and cross functional departmental leadership regarding non-PCP Value-Based templates across all segments (Medicare and Medicaid)
Creates and maintains VB vendor and specialty contract templates for across all segments (Medicare and Medicaid)
Collaborates with key stakeholders for successful VB specialty and vendor Medicaid programs by state
Lead senior-level conversations on contract structure and operational capabilities
Partner with various departments on creating standardization and consistencies in vendor and specialty deals

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Contracting (build, language, or negotiation)
3+ years of experience in value-based care
2+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience
Experience in senior-level discussions and presentations
Clear oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with Humana’s internal systems and applications, such as Service Fund, Value Based Tracker, and/or Icertis
Experience with Medicaid state implementations
Additional Requirements
This role is considered "remote/work at home" and can be based Nationwide/State side.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$115,200 - $158,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
