CenterWell Associate Director Nurse Practitioner, Telephonic Triage Leader in Tallahassee, Florida

The Associate Director, Advanced Practice Provider, NP is a leadership position that applies advanced education and clinical competencies to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Associate Director, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, NP requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).

We are seeking an dynamic, experienced Nurse Practitioner to lead our Telephonic Nurse Triage program. The Associate Director, Advanced Practice Provider, NP provides leadership, health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions. Prescribes medication, examines patients, diagnoses illnesses, and provides treatment. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead 24-hour Telephonic Nurse Triage program.

  • Works with Dyad leaders to ensure quality excellence of the triage program.

  • Trends data and outcomes as established to monitor the success of the program.

  • Identifies gaps to improve patient care across the continuum.

  • Develops or attends existing Dyad forums to report on performance metrics to the multi-disciplinary team. 

  • Participates in the interviewing, hiring, training, and development of Nurse Triage Team. Evaluates their performance relative to job goals and requirements. Coaches staff and recommends in-service education programs, when needed. Ensures adherence to internal policies and standards.

  • Provides direct patient care as needed.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license

  • Minimum 6 years of Nurse Practitioner experience

  • Minimum 4 years of management level experience

  • Call Center or Tele-Health experience

  • Must be able to work Eastern time zone hours

  • Ability to travel 15-25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience over a large metric-intensive operational unit with a span of control between 25-100 associates

  • Progressive business consulting and/or operational leadership experience

  • Willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting.

  • Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of a Collaborating Physician/Medical Director

  • Experience working within EMR

  • Senior care experience

  • Capacity to function independently within the licensed scope of practice

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$112,400 - $154,900 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
