Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and energetic Applications Programmer to with strong technical skills to be part of the OAL Supply Chain Management and Service Cloud Solutions. This individual will work in an individual contributor role and implement, customize, enhance test Oracle Field Service, Service Logistics, Inventory, BOM/ENG and PIM modules and to Support OAL Cloud related Framework using Continuous delivery and Continuous integration. In this role, you will drive the architecture and design of various mission-critical applications to support Oracle’s SCM and Field Service cloud business which includes Implementation/Customization/Coding extensions/Support using ADF, Java, JavaScript, VBCS, Java, OJet, RestApi, JSON, AI/ML, Chatbot, Open Source applications like Apache Kafka, Jenkins, etc.,

Oracle Applications Labs "implements, maintains, upgrades and extends the applications that Oracle needs to meet its' rapidly changing business processes, and provides a showcase for Oracle's products. Oracle Applications Labs influences the direction and strategy for Oracle's products through collaborative and often pioneering involvement in business applications.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a talented and energetic IT programmer/analyst to join our OAL team. This individual will work in an individual contributor role and implement, customize , enhance & test Oracle Service and Spares Management and other Cloud products along with Fusion Supply Chain Management applications.

Being part of the OAL team provides the opportunity to work on the latest Oracle Fusion applications, which includes Supply Chain Management applications & Oracle's Field Service. Fusion Service, Service Logistics and Logistics Cloud using Java, Java EE,, VBCS, OJet, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, AI/ML and other Oracle technologies. This position also provides opportunities to interact with Oracle’s Product Development and Business User groups of Oracle, thus providing unique scope for learning both applications technology and functional business processes.

Skills/Experience:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate (B.E. / B. Tech., M.E. /M. Tech. / MCA) from premier universities with an aggregate score of 70% and above, consistently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in coding, debugging and testing skills in Java, JavaScript, SQL,PL/SQL.

  • Functional and Technical understanding of Oracle Applications in Field Service, Inventory & Supply Chain Management modules.

  • Knowledge of OJet, AI/ML, Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS), Python. AI/ML is a plus.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database and development tools

  • Knowledge of Oracle Field Service and Logistics Cloud products

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and technical aptitude

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to learn quickly in a challenging environment

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to deal effectively with members of the user community who have various levels of technical expertise

  • Interest in learning the business processes of Field Service & Spares lines of business

  • Ability and flexibility to work in a global team, matrix management and under tight deadlines

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $81,500 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
