Taiwan Country Commercial Finance Business Partner

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

Job Description:

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the commercial functions by providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic guidance to drive business growth and profitability. You will collaborate closely with various functions including sales, marketing, and operations to influence decision-making, optimize performance, and enhance shareholder value. You will also be responsible improving processes, playing leadership role in change management, developing and implementing business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation to drive revenue growth.

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support commercial decisions and pivotal initiatives, thrive for optimized commercial performance.

  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, pricing proposals, and investment opportunities.

  • Partner with business leaders to drive demand generation and funnel conversion, fuel for continuous profitable growth.

  • Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiencies.

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support decision-making and drive business outcomes.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly business review package, variance analysis, and executive presentations for senior management.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive performance improvements.

  • Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools to enhance insight into business performance.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment proposals, assess returns on investment and support capital allocation decisions.

  • Support case analysis, appropriate requisition preparation and approval process for capex investment.

  • Drive improvements in processes and efficiency initiatives within the FP&A function to enhance reporting accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on financial analysis, business partnering in MNC.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key partners at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven track record of getting results, delivering insights, and making valuable contributions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting; advanced Excel skills required.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Cognos and financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion) preferred.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

  • Able to manage the intensity and able to operate under pressure.
