Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast paced technology company and a leader in the world of data centers. We are looking for technical engineers who are interested in joining an elite team and eager to learn the skills necessary to maintain one of the world's largest IT infrastructures in AWS Data Centers.

The successful candidate shall follow standard processes/procedures and maintain high operational standards in supporting advanced hardware, servers, storage and networking devices. They need to adapt to fast and constantly changing environment and will be working on shift work basis.

Key job responsibilities

• Incident first responder and onsite hands on support

• Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline

• Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline

• Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline

• Site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas

• Innovate and contribute from day-to-day operation experiences to improve operation efficiency

• Shift work duty to support 7x24 data center operations

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines.

• 1 year experience in server / network hardware and operation systems maintenance / troubleshooting.

• Basic knowledge of network cabling (fiber optic) and operation support experience.

• Sound understanding on incidents response and prioritization.

• Business level English in reading/writing and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience in Data Center Operations.

• Knowledge on data center networking

• Knowledge on cloud computing

• Knowledge on continuous process improvement.

• Understanding of data center safety and security environment.
