Description and Requirements

■ Summary

Main duty will be to guarantee that all thermal goals are achieved or exceeded as thermal engineer leader, and the user experience is enhanced, throughout the entire process from idea conception to design completion then product development execution. Our team handles all aspects related to heat within a highly collaborative, cross-functional design project. To succeed, you must possess a deep comprehension of heat and fluid dynamics and the capability to apply this knowledge to intricate design challenges.

■ About Organization

-Thermal leader or Engineer to develop thermal design in ThinkPad thermal team

■ Roles and Responsibilities

-HW thermal

　-Develop cooling device

　-Develop cooling concept by system integration

　-Manage all heat source

-SW thermal

　-Check thermal related table for SoC power and FAN rotation

　-Implement ThinkPad unique SW to products

　-Balance skin temp / FAN noise / Performance / Responsiveness / Charge speed

　-Improve efficiency (=Performance / Wattage)

-Drive end-to-end development

PoC > NPI > MP > Listen VOC > Solve field issue > Feedback to next generation

Thermal team of Lenovo group (USA, Japan, Taiwan, China)

ThinkPad development team (ID/ME/EE /BIOS/ECFW/Driver)

ThinkPad NPI (New product introduction) team

ThinkPad GCM (Global commodity management) team
