Job Description

Key responsibilities for Plant Finance Leadership:

• Financial Analysis & Modeling: Analyze financial data and performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance and review, analyze and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy, consistency, and transparency. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.

• Forecasting: Lead, develop and coordinate plant profit plans, monthly forecasts, goals & objectives, reports and analysis for plant management, including recommendations.

• Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and provide recommendations on financial implications of operating strategies. Work closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies.

• Cost Management: Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality. Manage the deployment of cost saving and other programs to provide operating economies and improve profitability.

• Inventory Management: Implement Inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash

• Talent Management: Builds organizational capability through successful hiring, talent development, and succession planning in the business. Establish a work environment that encourages individual career development and growth in order to provide adequate and qualified financial professionals opportunity for advancement.

• Cost Accounting: Analyze and interpret financial data related to the costs incurred during operations with the primary objective to provide valuable insights to management, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance. Provide leadership to ensure adequate cost accounting processes are in place, to accurately account for cost.

• Interpret, implement, and monitor corporate policies and procedures, ensure financials are reported in compliance with GAAP and local statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities for Division Finance Leadership:

• Understand and provide guidance on cost breakouts that feed division product and channel P&Ls.

• Ability to understand and provide input to Division SIOP cycle and interpret production mix and the impacts to the bottom line. Partner with Division Supply Chain and planning team on capacity planning and material cost forecasts.

• Understanding manufacturing variances and aligning with Operations stakeholders at the Division (Global CI, Quality, and Procurement Mgrs)

• Articulate plant results and forecast and profit plan proposals and how they impact the overall Division. Highlighting risks with proposed solutions.

• Support and lead division initiatives such as End to End planning system, Growth pipeline projects and division management systems.

• Maintaining standard processes or implementing standard processes with sister plant in Thailand. Building strong connections with cross functional and functional peers at Thailand Site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA/CMA/MBA preferred

• 5-8 years varied accounting/finance experience, 2-3 years of leader of people; 2 years of data analytics experience is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus."

• Solid working knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and local statutory requirements.

• Knowledge & understanding of Corp, region/division and plant reporting policies

• Technical capability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operational data/reports.

• Superior analytical and thinking skills; Intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability.

• For applicable locations – Understanding of global business issues, including foreign currency impacts, effective hedging protocols and local customs and duty requirements"
