Abbott Key Account Manager - Abbott Rapid Diagnostic in Taguig City, Philippines

The Key Account Manager is responsible in ensuring sales growth by acquiring new key customers and increasing business with existing key clients

Key Areas of Accountability

  • Responsible for identifying and acquiring 20 high volume and important clients for Abbott Covid portfolio

  • Develop and execute strategy to increase sales revenue via new key customer acquisition.

  • Develop and sustain solid relationship with key customers which brings the most business to the company

  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction at all times by timely resolution of issues and concerns of the key clients

  • Ensuring consistent sales growth and achievement of sales targets by developing new business opportunities while maintaining existing business.

  • Acting as the main point of contact between key client and internal teams

  • Act as the project execution lead

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer’s needs, problems and requirements.

  • Compiling reports on sales progress and sales forecast to ensure continuous supply to key clients

  • Negotiating and securing contracts with key clients and meeting established deadline for the fulfillment of each client’s goals.

  • Develop and implement communication plan for every stakeholders of key client to help ensure successful sale.

  • Effectively use CRM tool to better manage sales activities.

  • Monitor market trends and propose strategies to sustain the business and improve market share.

  • Carry out and deliver set KPIs, sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency.

  • Responsible for developing long-term business-building programs with key stakeholders and/or decision-makers of key clients

  • Responsible for providing the Commercial Team with sales analysis/trends for covid portfolio in specified key account customers.

Job Specification

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years related medical device and/or general trade operation experience from a healthcare industry and/or from medical service provider.

  • Strong relationship skills and proven ability in dealing with decision-makers of key clients.

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Excellent selling skills

  • Expert ability to program territorial support to ensure prompt communication with customers.

  • Exhibit confidence and foresight in soliciting for new businesses and maintaining existing accounts.

  • Ability to work out sales deals that will accomplish budgeted margins which must correspond to the Abbott’s sales policies.

  • Good influencing/collaboration skills and team player.

  • Exceptional skills in solving problems and executional roadblocks

  • Strong competence in working efficiently in a complex multi-faceted setting.

  • Experience in territorial sales an advantage.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
