Description

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Tacoma. As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support in various stages of personal injury litigation. You will also be tasked with managing case schedules, preparing and filing legal documents, and coordinating with various parties including clients, courts, and insurance companies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support in plaintiff's personal injury matters, including the steps and processes of litigation and mandatory arbitration.

• Prepare initial pleadings and ensure proper e-filing with District & Superior Court.

• Perfect service of process on Defendants and maintain an accurate calendar of all case schedule deadlines.

• Prepare Requests for Admissions, Interrogatories, and Requests for Production, and respond to discovery requests from Defendants.

• Schedule and coordinate depositions, arbitrations, and mediations with counsel and expert witnesses.

• Maintain up-to-date filing for each client's case and prepare attorneys for various meetings and phone conferences.

• Handle scheduling of appointments, hearings, depositions, trials, and arbitrations on attorney calendar.

• Coordinate meetings via email or telephone communication with clients, Courts, attorneys’ offices, insurance companies, and subject matter experts.

• Prepare additional pleadings such as witness statements, motions/orders, and Prehearing Statement of Proof.

5+ YOE in Personal Injury Litigation

Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required
