Job Summary Our Payroll Manager will oversee all payroll services for our permanent staff that service our associates and customers. We operate in all 50 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The Manager will provide guidance to our Payroll team and manage relationships with important third party service providers. The position will lead a team of 2 in North America and is supported by a team of 2 in our Gurgaon, India office. This team processes biweekly payroll for 3,500 employees in Canada, US, and Puerto Rico using the Oracle HCM payroll module. This position reports to the Director, Payroll Strategy and Systems. While the team is predominated located in Tacoma, Washington, this position is available to remote work environments. This position works closely with finance and operational leadership to evaluate and implement payroll solutions to minimize risk and maximize the profitability of the organization. The key responsibilities for this role are: Organizational and Management Oversee the career growth planning and development activities for department members Providing timely and specific coaching to staff to contribute to their growth and development Managing a team including payroll processors supporting our employees in their questions on pay within established SLA commitments on customer service Monitoring changes in the areas of minimum wage, wage and hour law, sick leave, and other federal, state and local regulations.
