Aerotek CNC Programmer in Tacoma, Washington

Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop and implement NC programs for our manufacturing operations. This role involves creating efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to lean principles, and maintaining data integrity. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Siemens NX, a strong understanding of manufacturing technologies, and the ability to manage schedules and budgets effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3, 4, and 5 axis NC programs using Siemens NX based on customer specifications.

  • Design and maintain setup and instructional documentation for machine operators.

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and support related audits.

  • Translate drawings and electronic data into accurate part programs that meet geometry and labor standards.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to create precise part estimates for customer bids.

  • Stay updated on technological advancements in metal machining and IT to recommend capital investments.

  • Verify data accuracy and complete required fields to facilitate system-generated information.

  • Understand and adhere to programming and engineering procedures to prepare for audits.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in CNC programming, particularly with Siemens NX.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines within budget.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
