Hourly Wage: $23.00

Position Summary:

Full-time administrative assistant position available for Sea Mar's Adult Treatment Center in Tacoma, WA. The Admin Assistant performs clerical and administrative duties. Applicant must have office, reception and/or clerical experience in long-term care, medical office or geriatric care preferred. 

The Admin Assistant is responsible for the upkeep and organization of all administrative files. Processes all incoming and outgoing interoffice and postal mail. Answers and directs incoming calls and greets and directs visitors to the facility. 

The Admin Assistant shall cross train with their clinical counterpart. Applicant must have good written and oral communication skills. Good verbal and written abilities, clerical ability to compile, interpret and utilize information. Must be able communicate effectively with staff. This is not a full comprehensive list of Duties/Responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements and/or Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access.

  • Able to multi-task, problem solve, thrive in a dynamic work environment, and enjoy working with a variety of people.

  • Experience in Long-Term Care, medical office or geriatric care preferred..

  • Excellent oral and written English, organizational, and customer service skills.
