Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team! In this role you will get to perform a variety of standard estimating activities, re-measurement of work completed by the contractors (individual or as part of a team) on an assigned project/program.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review BOQ Recapitulation prepared by Quantity Surveyor.

• Process contractor payment certificates.

• Maintain payment logs, variation logs, claims logs, etc.

• Prepare and/or review variation and new rate submissions.

• Prepare and/or review variation/change orders for approval.

• Prepare and update the cost report covering the project.

• Support for all cost planning and cost control functions.

• Draft and review contractual letters.

• Assist team with review of claims.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying. (or another related field).

• 10+ years of prime contract administration experience is required.

• Incumbent must also possess strong written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration. The ability to perform in a management capacity is also required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Requires widely diversified knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices.

• Demonstrated effective managerial capability on construction projects of comparable scope and complexity is also required, as well as excellent written and oral communications skills (particularly in formal presentations to clients and upper management).

• Relevant Professional membership.
