Job Title

Director, Transfer Solutions Commercialization - Banks and Financial Institutions (LAC)

Overview

Mastercard aims to lead as a multi-rail payments technology company. The LAC region is at the forefront of our strategy. The Director will manage strategic initiatives for the commercialization of Transfer Solutions, focusing on Banks and Financial Institutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the business development plan for assigned verticals and markets, focusing on products such as Mastercard Move (including Mastercard Send and Mastercard Cross Border Services) and Mastercard XB Bill Pay.

• Coordinate the commercial efforts of the LAC Divisions.

• Evaluate business cases and manage regional partnerships to enhance competitiveness.

• Connect with other commercialization teams globally to draw on best practices and experiences.

• Act as the link with the regional product team to ensure alignment on market needs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to execute plans and identify new opportunities.

• Manage the sales pipeline and develop value propositions for key customers.

• Advocate for Transfer Solutions internally and externally.

• Create top management presentations on development status.

• Monitor KPIs and utilize insights for innovative business development.

• Conduct market analysis to inform product and go-to-market strategies.

Experiences

• Extensive experience in business development across in payments, with a preference in Global Transaction Banking (GTS, GTB), Corporate or Commercial business areas.

• Experience in marketing payment technology solutions to FIs.

• Proven track record in managing P&L and sales objectives.

• Strong relationship management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

• Professional level English, Spanish and Portuguese preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience in the financial sector and consulting background are a plus.
