Microsoft is on a mission to lead the AI era, and we are actively seeking an Digital App Modernization Solution Area Specialist to drive our Enterprise customers adoption and growth of Microsoft Azure, AI and Developer Platform in Denmark. This role is at the forefront of AI-powered and cloud-native applications and developer transformation, enabling customers to develop and modernize their applications and build intelligent, scalable solutions.
As an App Innovation Specialist , you will work closely with our enterprise customers, partners, and internal teams to sell and implement cutting-edge application development strategies that empower organizations to accelerate their digital transformation. You will help customers to leverage the power of Microsoft Azure, GitHub, and AI-driven technologies to help businesses drive innovation and gain a competitive edge.
You will collaborate with a team of technical, partner, and sales resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly App Innovation revenue and consumption targets in your assigned accounts.
This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities
Drive Azure & GitHub sales and adoption by promoting Microsoft Azure, AI and Developer Platforms helping customers to modernize and develop applications using cloud-native technologies.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, defining application innovation strategies and influencing business decision-makers on developer productivity, cloud adoption and AI transformation.
Identify customer digital transformation needs , business drivers, and challenges, and provide tailored solutions that maximize value.
Lead technical sales engagements , orchestrating technical resources to showcase Microsoft’s cloud-native capabilities via Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and solution demonstrations.
Build and maintain a healthy portfolio of business & project opportunities , leading with a proactive sales approach and a deep understanding of customer needs.
Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and services to align customer goals with Microsoft’s technology stack and go-to-market strategies.
Influence Microsoft’s Application Innovation, Developer Platform and AI go-to-market strategy by providing feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on product requirements and market trends.
Maintain and grow expertise in Developer tools, AI, cloud-native architectures, and DevOps practices , staying ahead of industry trends and competitive insights.
Drive business excellence in pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal closing strategies to exceed sales and cloud consumption targets.
Act as a mentor for colleagues , sharing knowledge and best practices across the Microsoft sales community.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
Experience in technology-related sales or consulting , preferably in cloud, application development, or AI solutions.
Knowledge of cloud-native application architectures, including microservices, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.
Experience engaging with senior business and IT decision-makers, demonstrating how Microsoft solutions address critical business challenges through digital solutions.
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
OR Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
4+ years solution or services sales experience.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, GitHub and DevOps practices.
Understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and business case development for cloud transformation projects.
Experience in modernization and development strategies for large enterprises, including knowledge of app modernization and developer platform strategies and industry-specific challenges.
Technical acumen in cloud computing, application development, developer platform and AI-powered solutions.
