Red Hat Consulting Practice Leader LATAM in São Paulo, Brazil

The Red Hat Services team is looking for a Senior Manager to join us in LATAM leading the Consulting Practice across the region. In this role, you will guide and run our consulting services business, which includes both technical consulting and project management services. You'll help us evolve and grow our Services team to engage across IT environments and offer more strategic services together with our technology solutions. You will ensure sales alignment and integration, promote the services business model, offerings, go-to-market, and operations, and you'll provide leadership and organization management. You’ll work closely with the Red Hat Sales team to promote sales and business development for Services teams across the region. As a Consulting Practice Manager, you will be responsible for growing the business, keeping delivery high quality, keep Consulting Associates enabled and ready to delivery high quality engagements while managing financial KPIs of the business and working with new products & technologies and delivering strategic projects with customers.

What you will do:

  • Manage the financial performance, including tracking and reporting in regards to booking, margin, revenue, and sales forecasting from both partner and contractor relationships and internal delivery channels

  • Transform and enable services teams and partners to move from a single-solution focus to a multi-offering and solutions-oriented approach

  • Oversee and implement systems, policies, and processes to ensure standardization, optimization, and legal and fiduciary compliance

  • Plan, guide, and manage the deployment of new consulting engagements and marketing initiatives

  • Work with sales managers and sales account managers to promote the services in large and complex enterprise and corporate accounts

  • Be involved engaged through a two-ways approach with services sellers, receiving and providing constant feedback and be responsible for the overall quality of the services rendered to our customers

  • Embrace and implement global strategies and offerings aligned with Latam Services strategic directions

  • Scale the business to meet our 3-5 year strategies future strategic goals

  • Advocate value-selling and solutions-selling approaches

  • Ensure great connection between Consulting delivery team and Go To Market team

  • Be a speaker in large industry events to represent Red Hat Consulting Services

  • Manage associates in different LATAM countries & cultures

  • Establish trusted relationships with stakeholders from different areas across LATAM and Global (Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, Support, Marketing, etc)

  • Drive revenue stream and cost control initiatives

  • Drive marketing initiatives to support the business evolution

  • Drive Community of Practices to foster collaboration and innovation across the teams

  • Be a Agent of Change to implement new structures or rebuild teams whenever necessary

  • Be deeply connected with market changes, seeking to take advantage of these movements and adapting the Consulting team to be a multidisciplinary and multicultural team ready for employment. i.e. Solution selling and LAER model

What you will bring:

  • 15+ years of experience working in the IT professional services industry

  • 8+ years of experience with people management and consulting practice management

  • Port-graduation or MBA in strategic Business Management, Sales management or similar courses is a plus

  • Customer Success proven experience or certification

  • Consistent record of growing a successful consulting business

  • Proven customer-facing and consultative skills

  • Technical background working as an IT professional to relate and earn credibility with the Consulting team

  • Business development and go-to-market experience

  • Sales or business development leadership and services management experience is a plus

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-moving business environment

  • Ability to connect with regional and global teams to drive business strategy and execution plans

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and persuasion skills

  • Good knowledge about subscription model, consumption model and adoption practices

  • Good knowledge about open source model and key Red Hat solutions

  • Good knowledge about Open Practice Library

  • Availability to travel to visit customers and internal teams across LATAM

  • Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
