Description

TheTraining Instructorinvolves a combination of sharp observation, patience, and care for instructor led training. The Training Instructor will work directly with the Training Supervisor, On the Job Trainers (OJT’s) and Production Trainers. They will train new and current employees in the beginning stages of employment through the development of their skills. Provide training in a one-on-one setting, group setting, or in the classroom. The Training Instructor has a one-on-one training relationship with an employee that aids in the employee’s tasks that are essential to their success in the job function they are learning and growing in to gain proficiency. The Training Instructor will also be responsible for development and upkeep of all company materials.

Hours: 9am-5:30pm or 10am-6:30pm

In This Role You Will:

• Delivery of training and continuous improvement and effectiveness in training.

• In partnership with the Training Supervisor and Operations, determine training and classroom needs for the business.

• Support training financial objectives by offering realistic training to maximize efficiency and minimize time spent in training

• Demonstrated ability of understanding how adults learn best using basic principles of training models.

• Experience developing and delivering content

• Expertise and comfort working with Human Resources professionals

• Demonstrated ability in coaching skills and paying great attention to detail

• Experience with using learning software and tools

• Update training records in company database

• Support workers who have questions or need additional assistance in understanding their job responsibilities.

• Partner with the Training Department in suggestions of training plans, checklists and visual aids.

• May be called upon to help on; problem solving, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Your knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Time management skills & setting priorities

• Good communication and job skill transfer

• Enjoys seeing people grow and develop new skills

• Attend training for Certification OJT

• Other training(s) may be required as needed

  Your education and experience:

• At least 2+ years of experience in mentoring or assisting in the training of a new employee or current employee to learn new skills
