Job Summary:

Technical Staff

Recruitment and hiring of technical personnel.

Management of technical staff.

Ensuring adequate technical staffing levels.

Employee development and training

Annual technical staff evaluations.

Resolves disciplinary/concerns.

Coordination with Office Manager for Clerical Staff

Scheduling

Patient Flow

Patient Care

Ensuring that our practice delivers excellent patient care.

Resolution of patient concerns or complaints

Quality Assurance

QC of patient images.

Review and revise UH policies with UH staff.

Formulate protocols with physicians.

Coordination of activities to ensure positive outcomes of biannual inspections by the

Maintains accreditation status with the ACR.

Schedules mandatory continuing education programs for technical staff and CPR training.

Performs and/or oversees all QA testing and coordination of physicist QA testing.

Equipment

Coordination of equipment maintenance.

Supplies

Orders of supplies for all modalities.

Project Management

Helps with managing large scale projects to enhance/expand the practice.

Runs various reports for the Practice Administrator as needed. Daily interaction with the Practice Administrator.

Excellent communication skills needed. He/she will be expected to have a good working relationship with all referring offices, both physicians and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS License - ARRT.

  • CT and/or MRI experience is a plus

  • EPIC, PAC's and RIS experience needed

  • Management experience a must

  • BLS Certification

  • Knowledge in CT, MRI and DR

  • Team Player

  • Multi-Task

  • A full understanding of running a Radiology Office

  • Will have access to some very private information

  • MUST be able to delegate

  • An good understanding of QA, NYS Inspections and with ACR accreditation

  • Ability to take direction from many sources

  • Work well with upper management

  • Talk in a calm & professional manner with staff, patients, referring offices and MD's

  • Some conflict Management experience is helpful

  • Able to work independently and make decisions independently

  • Will need to be able to answer calls at times while he/she is away from the office

  • Willing to go that extra mile

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
