  Our Substitute Day Habilitation Direct Support Professionals have the privilege of providing person-centered services to adults/children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities on an "as needed" basis. In this position, you will be responsible for providing hands-on assistance, instruction and guidance, while supporting people as they work to reach their goals and fullest potential.

  Ideal Candidate(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid NYS driver's license, reliable vehicle (to be used while providing Community Habilitation Services).

• Has a passion for working with and creating positive, impactful relationships in the lives of the people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Exhibits positive approaches that provide encouragement, mentoring and instruction resulting in effectively achieving and maintaining independence and integration within the community.
