Job Summary: We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the University of Radiology Associates team.Flexible rotation between our Downtown Syracuse location at 550 Harrison and the Camillus location at Township 5.

*Responsible for the independent operation of the sonography equipment and for performing and communicating results of the diagnostic exams

*Responsible for the daily operations which include patient schedules, daily equipment maintenance and QA

*Must be able to use independent judgement during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between a normal and a pathological exam

*Obtain appropriate medical history, prepare preliminary reports and communicate findings to the Radiologist

*Must be a self starter and work independently

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Medical Radiography and License and Registration (ARRT) required.RDMS certification is required. Two years experience as a Medical Radiology Technologist. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

RDMS/RVT with prior experience. If candidate does not have the RVT credential, will allow 6 months to obtain RVT credentials. Studying during work time is permitted if patient schedule allows.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with occasional OT
