Crouse Hospital Secretary-Patient Access Rep in Syracuse, New York

The Secretary- Patient Access Representative completes all patient registration activities within the outpatient Addiction Treatment Services. Would also be responsible for performing general administrative, clerical, statistical and data entry functions specific to the assigned work area.

Job Requirements:

minimum education/certification/licensure: High school diploma or equivalent required.

minimum experience: Required: Minimum of 1 years experience in healthcare admitting, patient registration, and insurance verification with 1-2 years experience in a fast paced office setting. special skills/equipment: Solid knowledge of all major health insurers. Working knowledge of electronic patient accounts system. Good knowledge of MS Office. Must pass a Patient Access competency test of 75% or better. Test will be administered by Human Resources.

Hourly Rate Range

$16.01 - $28.73/hour
