Be part of this this transformational team of experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) supporting direct patient care in a non-direct physical role. Position Purpose: This innovative position integrates the experienced RN with onsite telemedicine into the acute inpatient care model allowing for superior patient monitoring, expert nursing consultation and enhanced patient experience. Using updated medical technology via in room TV monitors, this RN creates an effective partnership with the bedside staff, patient, family, and medical team any time of the day.
What you will do :
Responsible for collaboration, communication & facilitation of optimal provision of care through a computerized &/or digital platform supporting daily management of care.
Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring & evaluation of the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge.
Utilize clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills & the principles of case management & adult education to coordinate, implement & support the plan of care.
Ensure a seamless, effective, efficient transition of care across the continuum.
Monitor quality metrics specific to the department & ensure complete & accurate documentation in the patient record.
Act as mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator.
Virtual RN Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in the State of New York .
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in adult health condition management.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
Current or recent Bedside RN experience.
Virtual RN Preferred Requirements:
Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred, according to NYS requirements.
Specialty credentialing & educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred.

Pay Range: $40.10 - $55.85
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
