ASM Global, the world’s leader in venue and event management, is looking for part-time Custodians to join our Operations team and support a variety of functions at the Empower FCU Amphitheater!

THE ROLE

As a Custodian at Empower FCU Amphitheater, you will be responsible for the daily, routine cleanliness of the facility.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Perform general cleaning to maintain the cleanliness of facility restrooms, event spaces, corridors, offices, suites, lobbies, docks, and building grounds, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, etc.

  • Communicate effectively with management in order to respond to venue needs, ensuring cleaning standards are maintained and safety procedures are followed.

  • Maintain cleanliness of facility restrooms including but not limited to restocking, disinfecting, mopping, etc.

  • Assist with post-show cleanup of the lawn, seats, and surrounding areas.

  • Maintain all cleaning equipment, tools, and supply closets.

  • Operate housekeeping equipment including powered hand tools, riding machines, and chemical dispensers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED, and

  • One (1) to three (3) months related experience, -OR-

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must be able to maintain predictable and reliable attendance.

  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled overtime shifts as needed.

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

  • Perform routine and repetitive housekeeping tasks without immediate supervision.

  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.

  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently, or with a team, while exercising good judgment and initiative.

  • Exceptional hospitality and customer service skills, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.

  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, stooping, lifting and walking.

  • Ability to work in inside or outside environments.

  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

  • Must have the physical ability to bend, stoop, and maneuver around facility, at times extensive walking and/or standing for 8-10 hours or greater as required.

  • Tolerant to work under adverse outdoor conditions including extreme heat or cold and exposure to heavy dust, dirt, and cleaning agent odors.

  • Must be able to hear and speak using a two-way radio.

  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility to move quickly to the different areas of the facility as demands require.

  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and carrying 75+ lbs.
