SUNY Upstate Medical University Clinical Assistant Professor/Gynecologic Oncology Division Physician in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary: Faculty position in the Division of GYN Oncology as part of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Perform clinical consultations and procedures for patients at the Upstate Cancer Center, Upstate University Hospital, Crouse Hospital and Ambulatory Offices. Proficient at Minimally Invasive GYN surgical procedures. Supervise and educate residents and medical students in the ambulatory, inpatient and operating room settings. Participate in the on-call duties of the Department. Serve on committees and participate in projects as assigned by the Chair of the Department. Participates in research projects in collaboration with colleagues, residents, and medical students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Board certified in Gynecologic Oncology. Clinical experience including radical and robotic surgery, chemotherapy and medical management of gynecologic cancers. Dedication to medical education. Must have NPI and be eligible to participate with Medicare and Medicaid programs. Appointment contingent on obtaining and maintaining New York State medical license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Epic EMR.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday with Rotating Weekends Holidays and Night Call Coverage
