Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an individual with exceptional work behaviors to join our team as an Account Manager III. This is a Sales role within the Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD), offering a unique opportunity for career development and growth. This position is remote based in Eastern Canada, Upstate NY, NH, VT and ME.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop strategic and tactical sales plans to drive ambitious incremental growth in the assigned territory.

  • Conduct formal sales activities, including presentations, focus groups, technical seminars, and new product launches.

  • Represent and promote the Laboratory Chemicals value proposition to key accounts and within the industry.

  • Provide market intelligence and detailed account sales position information.

  • Coordinate daily sales activities to ensure customer focus and timely response.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop alliances and promote overall business growth.

  • Engage with channel and distribution sales teams to provide training and support sales activities.

Keys to Success

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree, with an emphasis in the Life Sciences recommended. Equivalent experience in the Life Sciences will also be considered.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of sales experience

  • Sales experience in the life sciences or healthcare field preferred.

  • New business/hunter type sales background preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Chemistry background preferred

  • Must be able to travel the US and Canada

  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel to customer sites

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Canada is $61,700.00–$92,525.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
