Chris Preble is working with a Syracuse manufacturing industry client of his that has been growing a lot. This is a need for an Accounting Manager who can work closely with the CFO and accounting staff. This organization has great benefits and really good work life balance. Responsibilities will include:

• Treasury duties and help ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.

• Conduct general ledger reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

• Generate comprehensive sales reports to support strategic decision-making.

• Produce operations reports to monitor and improve operational efficiency.

• Participate in monthly and year-end closing processes.

• Assist in the preparation of fixed assets, inventory accounting, and cost accounting.

• Handle project accounting and prepare cost reports.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

• Manage bank accounts and ensure smooth financial operations.

• Assist with third-party audits, reviews, and contracting.

• Lead special projects such as product costing and ERP support.

Requirements

• Manufacturing industry experience is required

• Excellent communication skills
