Position Overview

Materials 1 are receiving and inspecting materials, completing paperwork, putting away supply and reporting discrepancies, damage, or loss to inventory control. Materials 1 are also responsible for providing production with their parts, kitting boat orders and operating a forklift safely.

Essential Job Functions

• Able to understand and follow the requirements, policies, and guidelines set forth within the Code of Conduct & Employee Handbook expectations.

• Must have reliable transportation to get to work.

-Must be able to follow the Company's Safety and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) guidelines.

• Able to understand and follow the requirements, policies, and guidelines set forth within the code of conduct and employee handbook expectations. Within the current handbook, the expectation is no write ups.

• Must have Reliable transportation to get to work.

• Must be able to comply with the company's safety and personal protection equipment (PPE) guidelines.

• Accurately cycle count materials daily.

Requirements:

• Ability to continuously stand, walk, reach while frequently crouching, bending and climbing throughout the work day.

• Must be able to work in a non airconditioned environment and outdoor seasonal weather.

• Ability to professionally work with team members, team leads, group leaders, supervisors and engineers to achieve daily work targets.

• Must have prior material handling/inventory experience.

Other skills/Abilities

• Ability to be cross trained.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in responsibility (work duties) processes, procedures, or work schedules.

• Accurately cycle count materials daily.

• Have strong communication skills.

• Have general computer skills.

• Have strong attention to detail.

• All other duties assigned by leaders to support production facility.

• Safety Glasses.

• Gloves

• Safety shoes.
