Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Syosset, New York

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the field of Accounting Management, based in Woodbury, New York. This role involves managing accounting functions in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties, such as overseeing the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and utilizing various accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the overall accounting functions within the organization

• Utilize various accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and MS Dynamics for accounting tasks

• Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

• Oversee the auditing processes within the organization

• Handle the billing functions and ensure accurate and timely invoicing

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes

• Oversee the implementation and usage of ADP - Financial Services within the organization

• Ensure the efficient and accurate functioning of ERP Solutions within the accounting department

• Manage and monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently, and maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Auditing processes

• Proficiency in Billing Functions

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting manager or supervisor role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
