Description

We are hiring a Sr. Accountant for a 5-6 month project! The role primarily involves managing various account reconciliation activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger operations. The position is within the financial services industry, and the workplace is currently remote, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid model in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct month-end close procedures and prepare financial statements.

• Manage the consolidation of financial data as required.

• Handle all inventory accounting related to the shipping/distribution of credit and debit cards

• Responsible for account reconciliation and balance sheet account operations.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Oracle Cloud for various accounting tasks.

• Prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines and organizational goals.

  Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant or above for a large, publicly traded company

• Experience working within the financial services industry required

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger management, Journal Entries, Account, Balance Sheet and Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements and carry out Financial Consolidations

• Experience with inventory required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
