Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst for our growing client based in Sylmar, California. As part of our team, you will be tasked with managing all accounts receivable functions for external customers within a specified area. This role involves direct interaction with external customers, as well as our Customer Service, Sales, and warehouse departments. The role necessitates building and maintaining strong relationships with all relevant parties.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with specified trade customers, miscellaneous accounts and referrals.

• Analyze, reconcile, and resolve disputes for specified accounts.

• Issue product return authorizations, as needed.

• Utilize trade credit reports to qualify new and existing customers' credit lines.

• Conduct weekly reporting of accounts.

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Assist in the approval of customer orders and review orders on credit hold.

• Recommend credit lines for new and existing customers within prescribed limits.

• Post and apply daily cash to customer accounts, process credit memos and adjustments, and archive as needed.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 2 years experience in an accounts receivable role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Commercial Collections is required

• Must have strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Oracle platforms is a must

• Ability to generate and analyze Aging Reports and Aged Receivables

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
