Your role at Clorox:

Join a values driven FMCG company with a great company culture! 5 month contract role (parental leave) responsible for overseeing HR operations, outsourced payroll and HR advice for ANZ & Africa. This role will also have opportunities to work on HR projects across the region.

In this role, you will:

This role will work closely with employees and managers based locally and globally to support the achievement of the company's strategic goals through the ANZ People priorities. This role will also partner with global HR specialists to provide expertise and input into people-related matters you are responsible for.

Oversee HR Operations

  • Oversee key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding processes, probation tracking, offboarding and exit interviews.

  • Manage all HR administration including maintaining personnel files, preparing HR letters and contracts, Concur approvals, headcount reporting, new starter packs.

  • Support HR Manager and act as 2IC when relevant.

  • Maintain & act as the Subject Matter Expert for Workday.

  • Manage and act as point of contact for employee benefit programs.

  • Advise on HR Policies and Procedures.

  • Coordinate relevant HR/Payroll SOX activities in a timely and compliant manner.

Provide HR Advice across the ANZ Region

  • Provide high quality advice to managers and employees on HR related matters as necessary.

  • Manage low to mid level employment relations (ER) cases, support high level/critical ER matters.

  • Support HR requirements for Sub Saharan Africa when allocated by HR Manager.

  • Work with global specialists in ER, Compensation, Legal & Talent Acquisition to guide people-related matters.

Manage end to end Payroll via outsource providers

  • Manage payroll for ANZ through an outsourced provider.

  • Complete end of month activities including sending payroll journals, finance reporting and completing all disbursements (superannuation, ATO, salary packaging payments) in a timely manner.

  • Complete quarterly financial reporting and activities in a timely manner and meeting all compliance and audit requirements.

  • Administrator for leave management system

Support HR Projects

  • Support with HR Manager ANZ and where allocated, lead HR projects to deliver successful outcomes in line with business and strategic requirements, employment laws and employee engagement.

What we look for:

  • 2-4 years' experience as a HR advisor or generalist

  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR practices. New Zealand advantageous.

  • Experience in managing outsourced payroll activities in Australia. New Zealand advantageous.

  • Ability to interact with employees and management at all levels within the organisation

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

  • Influencing skills

  • Acts with integrity and confidentiality

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience working in a multinational company preferred
