Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

• Extensive experience with Google networking architecture and physical network components in Co-location and Large Scale Data Center operational experience

• Networking NPI Deployments (Alphabet) and/or ML NPI deployment experience

• Working knowledge of automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Fluxx, Fabric-Intents, etc) for infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Proven track record of successfully planning and executing complex infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and tech refreshes with minimal disruption.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

• Lead projects in support of quarterly topology publications such as capacity PoR and infrastructure PoRs for WAN core and campus functional areas

• Participate in topology change control program ensuring consistent handling of topology change in and out of cycle

• Contribute technical expertise in network planning functions as well as programs established to improve efficiency, accuracy and automation

• Liaise with partner teams to identify obstacles and ambiguity in processes and automation. May also include direct ownership of delivery projects, personal T/PgM program contributions

• Establish and/or contribute to key business metrics development, measurement and tracking
