This position reports directly into the Senior Program Manager, to support the content delivery and playout of Universal International Networks and Direct-to-Consumer channels across the APAC region

  • Schedule and deliver daily transmission logs for 7Bravo ensuring correct placement of NBCU promos

  • Ensure appropriate creation and placement of Secondary Events (Certification Bugs & Zips) for 7Bravo

  • Download drafts and final schedules for 7Bravo

  • Action programming and presentation amendments in the broadcast system for 7Bravo

  • Liaise with affiliates and broadcast playout on late changes / schedule issues

  • Provide leave cover for Programmers working on UTV AU/NZ

  • Contribute to the monthly program planning meetings to create ‘must see’ annual and monthly content plans for Studio Universal and Oxygen working with the Program Manager and Program Director

  • Using all available reporting from the Research team, analyse ratings and monitor program performance

  • Enter all program metadata information into Lacuna including contract information (licence period, licence fees, runs etc) as well as programme information (synopsis, cast, classification etc) for Studio Universal and Oxygen

  • Assist with Classification / compliance on programming and promos

  • Prepare monthly / quarterly KPP and highlights documents for BSVOD channels

  • Ensure correct classification /compliance for programmes and promos to ensure appropriate warnings and censors are applied

  • Mange file delivery for BSVOD channels

  • Provide metadata and EPG schedule for BSVOD channels

  • Assist with ad hoc programming related task

  • A sound knowledge of Microsoft office packages, specifically Excel and word

  • Strong written and verbal communication with the confidence to work with a broad range of internal and external colleagues

  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach, with a flexible attitude to working on ever-changing projects and ad hoc duties

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to think on your feet and problem solve

  • Positive attitude and solid team player 

  • An interest in working in media and developing a career within the broadcast industry
