AON APAC Senior Learning Co-Ordinator in Sydney, Australia

    What the day will look like

    As part of a Global Learning & Development (L&D) team, this role will partner with various leaders and colleagues across our firm to execute all aspects of L&D programming for the APAC region. We drive a continuous learning culture within the organisation and strive to harness new and existing technology to deliver personalised, social and innovative learning to meet the unique needs of all colleagues, providing high-quality, relevant, just-in-time, blended learning solutions to support Aon’s next level colleague experience. ​

    Together with a Learning Deployment Team, you will support the APAC Learning Deployment Lead to successfully implement the Learning & Development strategy by deploying the training calendar in line with regional priorities.

    Other key responsibilities include -

  • Program planning through to event management – including course set up, securing venues, tracking of program costs, securing facilitator(s) and leader(s) and deploying learning surveys to gather participant feedback.

  • End to end Workday/Learning Management System management, including course set-up, attendance reconciling and reporting.

  • Update regional delivery calendar, track enrollment and proactively provide programs status updates to help flag potential issues and drive participation.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships with curriculum leads/managers, facilitators, and leaders to ensure the successful delivery of learning programs and initiatives.

  • Facilitate/host learning programs.

  • Prepare facilitators/business leaders to deliver content.

  • Deployment of learning programs (virtual/in-person/hybrid sessions)

  • Align/update training materials in conjunction with L&D curriculum managers.

  • Active involvement in continuous deployment process improvement within the team

  • Support other Learning Deployment Team members across APAC by sharing knowledge and providing training when required.

  • Ad-hoc project work to support the implementation of the Learning & Development strategy

This role will support across APAC, focusing on the Pacific region and report to the APAC Learning Deployment Lead.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    The ideal candidate will have proven experience presenting, facilitating and training others, as well as the following skills -

  • Proactive team player with the ability to work independently and with limited direction.

  • Strong customer service skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.

  • Organisational skills, including strong planning and project management skills

  • Ability to be flexible and proactive, manage multiple projects, and deliver initiatives within a short timescale with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Comfortable with asking questions and making decisions autonomously.

  • Ability to navigate through what may at times be an ambiguous environment.

  • Comfort in working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Can manipulate large amounts of data, formulate data into easy-to-read formats and be comfortable telling a story and provide insights with that data.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Learning Management System (LMS) and Measurement Tools (Workday and Perceptyx preference).
