Cargo Agent

90 Day Contract to Hire

$18.00/hour

• Unloading packages from freight containers

• Loading packages into freight containers

• Staging packages for pick up from main entity

• Lifting of 35 lbs unassisted (A bag of small amazon packages mostly filled. Candidates will fill the bag then move it to a larger storage location)

• Bending, standing, walking on a consistent basis. (Bend over to grab packages out of a large bin)

• Working on a site with regulated traffic

• Willing to learn forklift

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Swanton, Ohio.

Work Environment

• WFS is a third party for Amazon, this facility will support the new Amazon AIR facility

• WFS places sites near major airports in an effort to aide in shipping of amazon products

• Working in a hanger/warehouse style environment

• Smaller team of employees, rapidly growing

Shift

3A - 7:30 pm to 4:00 am

3B - 9:00 pm to 5:30 am

ROC Training - Wednesday 6:30 pm to 3:30 am

First Day

• They cover WFS and ATI (airport training) policies

• all class work

• STA badge paperwork is filled out at the same time

• this is paid training

Schedule

• Employees will be working 5 days in a row, with 2 consecutive days off. Given the operation running 7 days, our people WILL BE WORKING WEEKENDS. The site will give a combination of two days (SUN/MON, MON/TUES, TUES/WED, WED/THURS) off weekly... employees can select their own combination of days off based on current schedule - this requires manager approval and it dependent on availability. Scheduling choice is based on seniority. Those who are later to being hired will be given what is left available.

• Candidates selected days off will be the same for 90-days. A master schedule is released every 90-days to change the candidates days off during the week, and make any hours adjustments. *When the master schedule is released, there is a chance an employees hourly schedule gets changed +2 or -2 hours. This happens rarely and is dependent on Amazon's Flight Schedule. If they have planes scheduled to come in earlier that normal, WFS has to adjust.

• Candidates will be notified of any scheduling changes 30 days in advance.

• If candidates the person work the schedule, they do their best too accommodate.
