Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

This role is responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on products to ensure they meet engineering requirements. It is also required to maintain calibrated test equipment as well as calibration records, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement. To ensure success as a quality technician, this role should be an excellent team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision and can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM/GMM machine and ensure parts meet engineering specifications.

• Manage tool gauges and gauge calibration system to ensure gauges are calibrated and working correctly.

• Develop and maintain company inspection reports.

• Inspect goods or products according to quality standards.

• Report quality anomalies to the supervisor.

• Collate test data and draft quality reports.

• Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

• Experience as an Inspection or Quality Technician.

• Advanced organizational skills.

• Experience drafting reports and collating data.

• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.

• Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.

• CMM/GMM experience is highly preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in a machine shop environment that is climate controlled. The position operates on a first shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40500.00 - $58240.00/yr.
