Education Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Completion of a phlebotomy training course is preferred

Preferred Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience preferred.

Job Description:

Will obtain specimens on patients of newborn to elderly as required including, but not limited to, Venous, Arterial, Capillary and point of care specimen. May be required to perform designated laboratory tests. Will exhibit problem solving skills and participate in specimen processing, specimen transport and customer service as required. Phlebotomist will be working every 3rd weekend 1030-1900, also covering 1030-1900 when hospital Phlebotomist is off.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure Required:

  • Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license preferred

  • American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification in phlebotomy preferred

Job Location: Superior Clinic

Shift Rotation: Day/Eve Rotation (United States of America)

Shift Start/End: Day/Eve Rotation/Day/Eve Rotation

Hours Per Pay Period: 80

Compensation Range: $16.01 - $23.84 / hour

Union: DC USWA Main & Neighborhoods (DCUMN)
