That happens because every one of us shares a belief that we can make something wonderful and share it with the world, changing lives for the better. The people here at Apple don’t just build products — they create the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that encourages the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts!

Description

In this role, your days will be spent at the intersection of engineering, product, and user experience, ensuring that teams have the tools they need to supervise and resolve issues efficiently. You'll work closely with developers to understand their workflows, capture feedback from teams across the company, and drive improvements that make problem tracking smoother and more intuitive. Some days will be spent in deep discussions about system architecture, while others will focus on mapping out long-term strategies to scale tools as the company grows. The impact of this role will be seen every time an engineer submits a bug report without friction, a project manager gains valuable insights from data, and a team moves faster because the right issues are surfaced at the right time. This position will go beyond maintaining a tool—it will play a key role in shaping how the organization collaborates, solves problems, and builds the future.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or in-house systems) in a large organization.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing or improving large-scale issue tracking systems used across multiple teams.

  • Hands-on experience with coding, scripting, or working closely with engineering teams to address technical constraints.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) for analyzing issue tracking data.

  • Understanding of API integrations with CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, or internal systems.

  • Certifications in project management, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM.

  • Proven ability to identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement process improvements.

  • Strong communication skills, including experience delivering presentations, leading training sessions, and documenting standard processes.

  • Familiarity with compliance, security, and legal considerations in enterprise or regulated environments.
