Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Camera Frameworks Responsibilities:

  1. Develop optimized Framework and SDK solutions for Meta Devices ecosystem

  2. Design, code, review, and tests camera related software features for Camera Frameworks interacting lower levels of the camera stack, including Camera HAL, Multimedia subsystems and Linux kernel.

  3. Design and develop system-level software for camera and imaging systems for AR products

  4. Defining Camera APIs for expanding feature set for Wearable Platforms.

  5. Support Camera algorithm integration and hardware optimization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  2. 5+ years of software development experience OR PhD + 2 years of experience

  3. 3+ years of experience with Camera Systems Software working on frameworks between application and HAL domains

  4. Experience with Camera APIs and understanding of Video and Image Capture pipeline for embedded devices

  5. Experience working on Camera stack on iOS, Android or other mobile platforms

  6. Experience developing and debugging in C/C++/Java

  1. Experience with Android Camera Frameworks

  2. Robust understanding of Android Services, Operating System components and build ecosystem

  3. Experience with ISP Hardware blocks and programming and their efficient use through unified Framework interfaces

  4. Experience with Qualcomm Hardware & ISP

Public Compensation:

$70.67/hour to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
