Walmart Senior Manager, Operations, Internal Consolidation Network in Sunnyvale, California

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Role Overview : This role will oversee our Internal Consolidation Network, ensuring operational success in inventory placement. The Manager will lead a team of talented individuals focused on managing inbound and outbound flows within the consolidation network. They will be responsible for developing the future strategy and expansion roadmap, managing site costs effectively, and implementing programs and operations to enhance efficiencies for our sellers and operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for inbound and outbound flows within the Internal Consolidation Network.

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for future network expansion and improvement.

  • Optimize site costs and operational expenses to ensure cost-effective management of the consolidation network.

  • Implement programs and operational initiatives aimed at improving efficiencies for sellers and operators.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to align network operations with company objectives and customer needs.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies within the consolidation network.

Project and Program Management:

  • Directs the execution of projects, work streams, and programs by managing and adjusting project plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • Creates, manages, and maintains task timelines and project data, ensuring successful roll-outs and implementations.

  • Develops solutions and contingency plans for escalated issues, adjusting direction based on project evaluation.

  • Manages budget and approves expenditures for assignments where required.

Cost Management:

  • Drives activities to reduce costs, and optimize business efficiency.

  • Identifies improvement opportunities through research, data analysis, and innovative solutions.

  • Manages the development and improvement of operational tools, reports, and customer-facing functionalities.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans by identifying needs, removing barriers, and adjusting performance accordingly.

  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, establishing performance expectations and promoting diversity awareness.

  • Promotes company policies, ethics, and integrity while supporting community outreach and maintaining compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in managing logistics operations, preferably in inventory management or consolidation networks.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans for network expansion and improvement.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in logistics and inventory management.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Sunnyvale, California US-08479:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
