The Pre-Owned team is seeking a customer-obsessed Product Manager to drive sales and marketing initiatives, build new experiences that aim to delight the customers and deliver unit targets, revenue growth.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will own the P&L, Sales and Marketing strategy and its execution for Amazon Pre-Owned Devices. You will be the primary contact for multiple pre-owned product lines and work with a cross-functional team including Product managers, Tech, In-stock, Finance, Retailers, Merchandising, and Marketing to develop and execute a multi-year plan to grow the business. You will own marketing funnel optimization across channels, promotion planning and execution, inventory management, sales and engagement analytics. This is a high visibility role that will work on a broad array of business problems and have very frequent opportunities to interact with and present to leadership. You will also have the opportunity to own customer shopping experience improvements.

You will operate both strategically and tactically: thinking big to drive new opportunities, diving deep in data to uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence within your programs and with colleagues across Amazon. You will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment, invent and simplify, and communicate clearly and persuasively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Amazon devices, take strong ownership of the business, and be comfortable executing and giving feedback on new playbooks to maximize sales growth and efficiency.

Key job responsibilities

  • Accountable for ensuring the P&L, driving pre-owned devices sales, including developing and implementing the annual plans

  • Drive demand generation: includes running and developing new initiatives and programs on Amazon and in offline partners

  • Motivate and provide guidance to senior Product Managers

  • Define and deliver a best-in-class marketing program, write business requirements and partner with the merchandising organization on implementation

  • Conduct business and financial analysis, be fluent in speaking to and analyzing P&L drivers, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting

  • Key influencer in developing and auditing business strategy, contributing significantly to business operations, customer engagement and analytics, and financial planning

  • Develop, standardize and maintain business critical metrics (input and output), analysis, reporting, to support business and financial planning

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time

  • Role works with teams in other marketplaces

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
