This role will be based in Sunnyvale, San Francisco, New York, or Seattle.

As a Principal Product Manager on the Network Growth Team at LinkedIn, you will play a critical role in driving the strategy and execution of the most critical and complex products in this space. You will lead a team of cross-functional partners to develop and execute strategies that help users grow, nurture and leverage their professional network. This role requires expertise in AI and UX building, along with deep empathy for user needs and command of analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for network growth initiatives, aligning with the overall objectives of LinkedIn.

  • User Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives that drive user acquisition and engagement.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, marketing, and other teams to execute on the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.

  • Experimentation and Optimization: Design and implement A/B tests and experiments to optimize user flows, onboarding experiences, and other key conversion points, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing updates on progress, soliciting feedback, and aligning on priorities.

  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA Degree in a technology related field OR equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/MS degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.

  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycle, from concept to launch to iteration, with experience in agile methodologies.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.

_The pay range for this role is $173,000 to $280,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. _
