Meta Module Integration Process Manager in Sunnyvale, California
Summary:
Reality Labs is developing the future of augmented reality (AR) products. As a Module Integration Process Manager for the AR display Engine team, you will be managing a team of engineers developing projector module assembly processes and equipment. You will be leading the development of advanced technologies and designs, and working within evolving ecosystems to provide differentiating capabilities to our HW platforms. You will be part of a group of engineers at the forefront of the innovation for AR products.
Required Skills:
Module Integration Process Manager Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Module Process engineers to develop manufacturing processes and equipment for first-generation AR modules
Oversee module process, equipment and materials integration - direct the process team in the overall line setup, detailed process development, metrology, and optimization
Oversee Design for Manufacturability - Ensure the design, equipment, and process are scalable to ramp
Direct the team in reviewing equipment concepts, designs, module drawings, design fixtures and jigs
Perform FMEA for new equipment and process technologies and provide risk assessments
Define and implement rigorous equipment/process validation plan, CTQs, FAT/SAT, and standards
Organize and drive cross-functional reviews of processes and equipment to ultimately drive design optimization and ensure a smooth handoff to Operations teams for Mass Production
Lead yield improvement activities and drive FACA
Prepare Request for Proposal packets and evaluate submissions to select future development partners
Willingness to travel no less than 20%

Bachelor's degree in, Mechanical, Materials, Optics, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
2+ years experience managing engineers in product development for high volume manufacturing
Experience directing product and process development efforts at contract manufacturers
5+ years of experience in the development of module equipment and processes for Optical Assembly for consumer electronics
Experience developing active alignment processes and equipment to optimize optical parameters such as MTF, boresight, uniformity, etc.
Experience specifying and evaluating precision automation technologies for high volume module production
Experience with DOEs, data analysis, SPC control, Gauge R&R, Failure Analysis/Root Cause/Corrective Action
Experience leading communications with cross-functional partners to define requirements, address issues, and hand off programs

Track-record of delivering high volume products to the market
Experience developing processes for applying thin film polarizers and waveplates
Experience implementing automatic optical inspection processes
Knowledge of calculating MTF, processing beam profiles, and correlating optical measurements across multiple tools
Experience developing optical calibration procedures for assembly equipment
Experience in semiconductor packaging processes
Public Compensation:
$170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
