Would you like to join Apple’s growing cellular system validation team? Our team is responsible for all aspects of 5G NR cellular system integration with a particular emphasis on highly integrated and efficient system design and technologies that transform the user experience at the product level. As part of the team, you will be involved in many aspects of the product bring up, integration and validation by providing modular, re-usable software, and DevOps solutions supporting different teams on the project.
Description
Design, develop and maintain framework solutions automating the maintenance of infrastructure. Maintains and develops CI/CD pipeline solutions for a very dynamic code base. Continuously adapts software to future MacOS and CPU Architecture releases. Provides guidance and architecture solution for test automation framework covering the wireless SoC test flow. Support validation and design engineers for bring up and test wireless SoC. Develop software for automating test equipment control, device control, data acquisition and processing. Continually improve testing speed, coverage, and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications
BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience required.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with an ability to thrive in a multi-functional environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
MSCS or beyond is preferred.
Strong expertise in Python development and deployment, or equivalent programming language.
Strong expertise with GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD, software development process such as building, unit test, code analysis, and regression.
Experience with automating and improving infrastructure management/orchestration using Open source tools (e.g. Ansible).
Experience in visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
Experience in Front End / Back End UI development.
Experience in hardware development environment.
Experience in MacOS or Linux.
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, REST-API and client-server systems.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
