Merakey Pennsylvania Clinical Specialist in Sunbury, Pennsylvania
Reference #: 5001079212806 The Clinical Specialist -Specialized provides dedicated clinical services to 1-2 individuals in one home who have been identified as needing enhanced clinical and behavioral supports. This position is responsible for being onsite up to 40 hours per week to train, shadow and coach staff and support the individual (s) in the home. The Clinical Specialist provides direct support services when needed and models interventions of the behavior plan that is developed by the person in this role, based on the Functional Behavioral Assessment that Clinical Specialist also develops. Specialist responsibilities include the following as per PA 6400 regualtion. Other duties include: *Completes observations in various settings and conducts comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) of presenting behaviors and psychiatric symptoms (aggression, self-injurious behavior, adverse mental health symptoms, law offending behavior- sexual or other identified issues) for those in the assigned home. *Collaborates with the person, their family and team towards development and maintenance of ISP, Yearly assessment, and a behavior support plan seeking guidance from program director and clinical director and clinical team as needed. *Trains, models for and mentors the persons support team on how to implement plans. *Completes timely documentation, per policy including but not limited to data collection, progress reporting/service notes, as well as documentation associated with the development and revision of the Behavior Support Plan (BSP) *May provide and receive external consultation services for assessments, training and behavior supports *Shares on-call responsibilities to provide telephone and/or in-person support to address potential or actual behavioral/psychiatric incidents of individuals in designated home. *Participates in monthly individual and group clinical supervision as well as in other meetings as assigned. *Conducts assessments and works with team, including Supports Coordinator in the development of the individual support plan *Facilitates and completes the Personal Profile, the annual (primary) assessment tool, and any other assessment tools following policy guidelines Earn up to $29.88/hour with a Master's Degree and selection of Enhanced Pay.
