Job Title: Production Maintenance Technician

Job Description

You will be responsible for the set-up and maintenance of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production process. You will work directly with the Engineering team to supervise and improve processes for output and waste levels. You will also provide leadership and ownership of process performance issues, reporting directly to Production Maintenance (engineering) and indirectly to Production.

Hard Skills

  • Maintenance of electrical systems on production equipment

  • Preventive maintenance on designated production equipment

  • Installation, debugging, and start-up of equipment

  • Maintaining and adjusting vision systems

  • Documenting process changes using approved control change procedures

Soft Skills

  • Leadership in problem-solving of production equipment

  • Providing relevant information to Production Supervisors

  • Coordinating and supporting other maintenance activities

  • Ensuring all safety and environmental procedures are maintained

Work Environment

Able to work 8pm-8am on a 3, 2, 2, 3 schedule. Training will be 8am-4pm (M-F) for about 8-10 weeks before transitioning to the 8pm-8am shift. No options for first shift, so candidates must be comfortable with the night schedule. Onboarding starts on Mondays. The plant operates 24/7 and has about 900 employees, offering a large environment. The department, VMS (Vacutainer Multi Sample), will be fully staffed with an 8-person team. This is a direct hire position.
