Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator with +3 years of experience operating CNC Mills, Lathes or Grinders. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working from blueprint layouts and dimensions on drawings and reading manual gauges. You will be responsible for loading, aligning, and setting up machines per drawing instructions and maintaining quality production records. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop math, and knowledge of machining methods and cutting tools is essential. Additionally, candidates must be computer literate for Statistical Process Control, CMM measuring, and have CNC machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC grinders, lathes, and milling equipment.

• Work from blueprint layouts and dimensions on drawings.

• Read and interpret blueprints and manual gauges.

• Load, align, and set up machines per drawing instructions.

• Maintain quality production records.

• Read shop math and possess knowledge of machining methods and cutting tools.

• Utilize computer literacy for Statistical Process Control and CMM measuring.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of experience in set-up and operations of CNC grinders, lathes, and milling equipment.

• Ability to work from blueprint layouts and dimensions on drawings.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and manual gauges.

• Ability to read shop math and knowledge of machining methods and cutting tools.

• Computer literacy for Statistical Process Control and CMM measuring.

• CNC machining experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of CNC experience.

• Experience with Mills, Lathes, and Grinders.

• Experience with setup and changeovers.

• Willingness to work 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.41/hr.
