Job Title: Energy Marketing Specialist Location: Summerdale

Description of Responsibilities: Investigates and provides recommendations and/or energy load data to residential and commercial/industrial members regarding energy consumption inquiries. Facilitates all cooperative energy services programs and products and provides internal and external support as needed. Such programs include rebates, EV, electrical safety, etc. and products such as surge protection and the Generlink transfer devices. Facilitates the cooperatives Distributed Generation Program which includes, but is not limited to, solar and wind interconnections for residential and commercial/industrial members. Reviews new or existing residential, commercial, or industrial member/ consumers remodeling or new construction plans to identify opportunities for optimizing energy efficient technology, reducing kw demand, and assuring through engineering design that HVAC systems, lighting, and other electrical or energy equipment have been properly selected by the member/ consumer. Completes the following remote metering processes including, but not limited to, collections, meter sets, disconnects, reconnects, transfer/change overs and researches/resolves failed remote metering activities. Coordinates and provides technical and informational support in response to residential and commercial/industrial member inquiries regarding electrical energy effects such as electric/magnetic fields, power quality, radio frequency, and electrical safety. Conducts electrical safety and energy conservation demonstrations as needed.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field of study. At least two (2) years, previous experience in a public relations, community relations, customer relations, or communication role. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently and effectively. Ability to set and meet goals and objectives of role. Ability to communicate technical and industry-specific information to employees and the general public through all methods of communication. Valid driver's license required.

Working Conditions: Office/Field environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional weekend work and some overnight and/or out-of-state travel is required.
