Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant in Sugar Land, Texas. The successful candidate will be joining our team to use their analytical skills and technology expertise to help our organization make data-driven decisions. This role involves working with a range of technologies and platforms, including Atlassian Jira, BusinessObjects, Cognos Business Intelligence, and Maps API, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage BI solutions to support data analysis and decision-making processes

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop reporting solutions

• Utilize Atlassian Jira for project management and workflow tracking

• Work with BusinessObjects Technologies to create and manage business intelligence and reporting solutions

• Leverage Cognos Business Intelligence to deliver data visualization and reporting tools

• Apply Data Visualization skills to interpret data and improve decision-making

• Use Maps API for location-based data analysis and visualization

• Implement AB Testing methods to optimize business performance and decision-making

• Participate in Agile Scrum teams to deliver rapid and responsive project execution

• Employ Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) skills to convert raw data into meaningful information. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Atlassian Jira

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with BusinessObjects Technologies

• Experience in working with Cognos Business Intelligence is essential

• Strong ability in data visualization, preferably with relevant tools

• Proficiency in using Maps API

• Experience in AB Testing and its application in business contexts

• Ability to generate Ad Hoc Reporting

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and its application in business settings

• Strong analytical skills, with a focus on business analytics
