Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Schoolage
Details about this opportunity:
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for school age children
Full Time or Fee for Service, Flexible scheduling available!
Compensation: $50 - 70/hour
Please note this is an average. Rates are determined by service provided, professional experience, and license/certifications held.
Monday-Friday, following school calendar

Responsibilities:
Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
Collects data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

And this background:
Current New York State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families is preferred
Basic knowledge of Word and E xcel
Bilingual is a plus
